Apprenticeship Quality

The main objective of this developing partnership is the opening and stabilising of the labour market for disadvantaged youngsters.

This partnership is to help entrepreneurs, trainers and teachers in vocational schools deal with such disadvantaged youngsters and to make use of hidden potential. The network between vocational schools and firms / companies should be strengthened. Through a better co operation between firm and school youngsters should be the more supported to successfully complete their apprenticeship. The description of vocational patterns in retail dealing with its competencies should help aid a more effective advertising among youngsters and a more widespread selection procedure within trade and commerce.

Hafelekar Consulting provided a baseline study, applying the GABEK method, as a precondition for further activities. Hafelekar was further responsible for public relations and dissemination of the products.

WoMen

WoMen – equality for women and men on the ICT labor market

The main objective of the development partnership is to encourage men and women in a more balanced gender distribution of the ICT labor market in the Tyrol. This will happen through awareness-raising activities, by identifying strategies and the development of specific instruments.

Project aims

  • Creation of social and political awareness by sensitizing public relations
  • Creation of an individual consciousness – by means of individual career planning for women
  • Sensitization and planning of appropriate strategies in companies
  • Counseling and guidance services (skills analysis, career planning, Resource pool, child care policies, models of parental support)
  • Training of highly qualified ICT professionals
  • Formation of networks of all relevant actors engaged in the support of equal opportunity on the labour market.

At the beginning of the project Hafelekar created a large-scale baseline study, using the method GABEK, which forms the basis for further activities. Hafelekar was further responsible for public relations and dissemination of the products.

MIORE

Mobility for innovation in career guidance and further education

The aim of the project is to find new methods and their use in information and career guidance procedures for employees and job seekers. This concerns career guidance and orientation for job seekers as well as vocational re-qualification for employees.

The contribution of Hafelekar Consulting in this project is its participation as reception partner. This means that Hafelekar Consulting prepares a working program for a whole week, receives and looks after the project participants, contributes to the dissemination of project aims and results and is involved into its evaluation.

holistic approach inventing to European staff solutions

The project developed and implemented holistic, modular trainings in the area of information and communication technology. These trainings included modules of the following areas:

  • professional expertise (network technology, web-design, database development., e-commerce, etc.)
  • social competence (entrepreneurship, communication training, project management, etc.)
  • transfer competence (internships with partner companies, training firms)

In particular, a method was developed to survey skills and competences – also for those which were not acquired within formal education or at work. For the participants, the results served as a basis for individual learning paths. Hafelekar consulting conceived this project, as well as it had a consulting and assisting role in its implementation phase.
