Fast development of IT makes the Information Security Issue more and more important in the world. Big companies have enough resources and can invest in Information Security workers to tackle this issue, while SMEs does not have much support in this area.

That’s why creating state of the art IS blended learning training course is important to meet the demand for such knowledge tailored to the needs of SMEs/MEs. Since the volume of information, knowledge and variety and complexity of Information and Technology is growing, there is a need to up-date and summarize this knowledge, and to create information security precautions. The training curriculum and blended learning tools can be certified with VCC and will enable to expand educational infrastructure of consortium partners. A blended learning concept is gaining popularity because of time and travel cost saving, wider availability than traditional classroom courses.

The product creates opportunity to use it as cost- effective business opportunity and new service offered to the other companies. The product will extend the portfolio of products and services of consortium partners, will create new business opportunities, collaboration, partnering, and can be also integrated with broader range of services chains. Successful implementation of the project will create the background to form partnerships and cooperate as partners in order to develop ideas and proposals for new innovations tools and solutions, and also cooperate in other projects.
